    USC To Compete At Titan Invitational Friday

    The USC women's cross country team will be competing at the 5K Titan Invitational hosted by CS Fullerton on its campus on Friday, Oct. 19 at 4:45 p.m.

    Trojans expected to run on Friday are junior Francesca Adamski, sophomore Shannon Byrne, junior Anna Burger, redshirt sophomore Katie DeYoung, sophomore Erin Matranga and senior co-captain Kelly Owen.

    The field is expected to feature among other teams, San Diego State, Azusa Pacific, Pepperdine, UC Irvine and host CS Fullerton.

    Head coach Tom Walsh has selected eight runners to compete at the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships to be held next weekend at Robinson's Ranch Golf Course in Santa Clarita, Calif, and is holding all of those runners out from this meet. Scheduled to represent USC at the Pac-12 Championship meet on Oct. 27 are freshman Katerina Berdousi, senior co-captain Shelby Buckley, sophomore Erica Capellino, freshman Nicole Davies, sophomore Erin Robinson, sophomore Kira Soderstrom, freshman Natasha Strickland and freshman Jenna Tong.
