The USC women's cross country team will not be competing at the Pomona Pitzer Invitational this Saturday (Oct. 1), but instead will hold a Cardinal vs. Gold 5K scrimmage at Griffith Park (by the Zoo) in Los Angeles at 8:45 a.m.
The Pomona Pitzer Invitational had too many teams entered in their race, so eliminated teams from the field like USC which had not run there previously.
The women's cross country team's next official meet will be on Oct. 15 at the CS Northridge Invitational in Northridge, Calif. Last season, USC placed third at the CS Northridge Invitational with Zsofia Erdelyi claiming the individual title.
