Junior Erica Capellino placed ninth to lead a strong team effort by the USC women's cross country team which placed second among Division I schools at the 69 Annual Aztec Invitational held at Balboa Park in San Diego today (Sept. 21). "We are improving, we are growing, but we still have room to grow," said USC cross country coach David Freeman. "We are going to get back to work Monday and start getting ready for the preview meet (NCAA Inter-Regional Jamboree) in Sacramento. I want us to focus on the racing aspect of training."
