    At USC: Jackie Mansky begins her first season of running cross country at USC....Transferred to USC after one season of competition at Carnegie-Mellon University.

    COLLEGE: Mansky attended Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. during the 2010-11 season...Ran on the track team and had a best 3000m time of 11:31.96 and 5000m time of 19:41.99.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Mansky graduate in 2010 with high honors from Oak Park HS in Oak Park, Calif.

    PERSONAL: Jackie was born on May 19, 1992...Her parents are Karen and Terry Mansky and she has a sister, Hannah...Both her father and sister attended USC...She is a double major in Journalism and Political Science... She is an Executive Producer for USC Annenberg's online newspaper Neon Tommy and a Staff Reporter for USC's daily newspaper the Daily Trojan...She served as an editorial intern this summer for the Malibu Patch...In addition to writing, she loves science-fiction, running, travel, country music and old movies, with her favorite being Casablanca...Lists her sports hero as Kara Goucher...Favorite food is blueberries...Would like to travel to Australia one day...Volunteers for the USC J.E.P program which is a service and learning opportunity in the local neighborhood.
