    High School: Beatty is a 2009 graduate of Chandler (AZ) High...She ran cross country and track as well as played soccer in high school...Placed fifth at the 5-A State Cross Country Championships as a freshman and 10th as a senior...Helped lead Chandler HS to four 5-A State Championships in track and field...Had bests of 2:24 in the 800m, 5:07 in the 1600m and 11:03 in the 3200m.
