    LOS ANGELES - Anna Pardo scored three goals Thursday as the No. 1 USC Trojans defeated the No. 3 UCLA Bruins, 9-4, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women's water polo match. The Women of Troy outscored the Bruins, 4-1, in the first period at McDonald's Swim Stadium.

    With the win, USC (13-0, 4-0) now leads the season series with UCLA (9-2, 3-1) by a 2-0 margin and maintains its 2.5 points in the Lexus Gauntlet standings.

    USC travels to Honolulu, Hawaii, on Friday and will compete at the 2004 Aloha Classic next week against national teams from various countries. All matches will be exhibitions and will not count against USC's official record.
