WESTWOOD, Calif. -- In a rematch of last season's National Collegiate Championship final, the No. 2 UCLA Bruins knocked off the No. 3 USC Trojans, 13-6, at the Sunset Recreation Center on Friday afternoon.

The Bruins move to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in the MPSF. The Women of Troy fall to 10-3 overall and 3-2 in the MPSF.

Coralie Simmons led the way for the Bruins, scoring a season-high four goals. Jenny Lamb scored a season-high three goals while sophomore Jessica Lopez added two.

Junior Sofia Konoukh led the Trojans with three goals and now has a team-leading 31 goals on the season. Freshman Courtney Lee stopped three shots in goal for the Women of Troy in the first half, replaced by freshman Kelly Graff in the second half, who made one save.

The Women of Troy travel to Hawaii next Thursday for an MPSF match against the Rainbow Wahine and will compete in the Rainbow Challenge on Friday and Saturday.
