    LOS ANGELES -- Sophomore Moriah Van Norman scored a team-high four goals Saturday as the No. 1 USC Trojans defeated the No. 11 UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, 10-3, in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women's water polo action at McDonald's Swim Stadium. Van Norman now leads the team with 24 goals on the season.

    USC improves to 8-0 on the season and 3-0 in MPSF play while UC Santa Barbara falls to 6-3 overall and 0-1 in conference.

    The Women of Troy held a 3-0 advantage after the first period and led 5-3 at halftime.

    Next weekend, USC travels to the UC Santa Barbara Tournament.
