2002: Trunk will see more playing time in her 2002 sophomore season.
COACH VAVIC SAYS: "Laura was a pleasant surprise in the offseason. She did a great job of training on her own and worked with a swim coach in Oregon. Her swimming has improved and she is now one of our top players. She is a tenacious defender and plays very smart."
2001: As a 2001 freshman, Trunk recorded four goals for the Women of Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named as state most valuable player at Newberg (Ore.) High...also earned first team All-America and first team all-state honors.
PERSONAL: Has not decided on a major but interested in going into environmental studies...chose USC for its great academics and water polo program...enjoys camping and doing outdoor activities...birthdate is May 28, 1981.
