    THIS SEASON: Rosanna Tomiuk enters her first season at USC and is pursuing a graduate degree while finishing her final season of eligibility.

    NATIONAL TEAMS: Tomiuk is a member of the Canadian National Team... Won silver medals at the Pan American Games and Commonwealth Games... Won gold at the 2003 Junior World Championships.

    AT LMU: Tomiuk played two seasons at LMU and earned a degree in biology... In her first season, was a full-time starter and fourth on the team with 44 goals and added 27 steals and nine assists... Scored seven goals in the 2005 NCAA Tournament to be named to the NCAA All-Tournament Second Team... Had 11 multiple-goal games... Had a career-high three goals in five different games... Named to 2006 WWPA All-Tournament Second Team... Scored 25 goals with 12 assists and 21 steals as a sophomore... Did not compete in 2007 at LMU... Recipient of service and leadership awards at LMU.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Tomiuk attended Beaconsfield High... MVP at junior women's water polo club nationals in May of 2004... Member of All-Star team at junior nationals in 2004 and 2003... Played club for Dollard WPC.

    PERSONAL: Rosanna Tomiuk is working on a master's of liberal studies... Parents are Lynda and Jean Thomas and Olaf Tomiuk... Step-father, Jean, played water polo at Sir George William's University... Has two brothers, Olaf and Marcus, and a sister, Daria.... Enjoys singing and songwriting and anything adventurous in her free time... Wants to train for the Olympics, make music and change the world after graduation... A member of Team Darfur... Birthdate is Oct. 10, 1984.
