    THIS SEASON: Michelle Stein returns for her final season holding 95 career goals and standing out as a dangerous scorer who also boasts defensive prowess for the Trojans.

    2008: Stein led the Trojans in scoring as a junior with 56 goals... Scored in all but three games for USC, notching 16 multiple-goal efforts... Had a season-high five goals vs. Michigan... Was named MPSF Player of the Week twice and finished as the MPSF's ninth leading scorer... Named a Second Team All-American.

    2007: Stein finished as the team's sixth leading scorer with 39 goals as a sophomore... Scored in 17 different games with seven multiple-goal efforts... Set her new career high with six goals in a win over Hawai'i on March 17.

    2006: Stein scored eight goals as a freshman... Scored in six games, including a hat trick against Michigan on Feb. 12.

    NATIONAL TEAMS: Stein is a member of the U.S. Junior National Team... Helped Team USA win silver medals at the Pythia Cup in Greece and the Trofeo Liguria in Italy over the summer.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Stein was named "Athlete of the Year" by the Desert Sun in 2005... A first team All-Inland Empire selection in 2005... A first team All-CIF selection as a 2005 senior... Chosen as Palm Desert High team MVP 2003-05... Named to second team All-CIF in 2004 and third team in 2003.. Desert Valley League MVP in 2004 and 2005... On the High Honor Roll all four years... Named the 2004 Business Department's "Student of the Year"... Plays club for CHAWP, which placed third at the 2004 Junior Olympics and seventh in 2005.... A first team All-American at 20-under Nationals.

    PERSONAL: Stein is majoring in English... Parents are Margo and Ken... Has three sisters, Kelly, Jill and Elise, and one brother, Grant... Uncle Brian Heublein played baseball and basketball at USC 1970-74... Birthdate is July 30, 1987.
