THIS SEASON: Marina Mayer has been a defensive force for the Trojans for three years now, and the senior enters her final season bringing depth, experience and strength to her position.
2006: A reliable two-meter defender, Mayer scored 10 goals as a junior... Scored in seven games with three two-goal efforts... Earned ACWPC and MPSF All-Academic honors as a scholar-athlete with a 3.67 GPA.
2005: Mayer scored seven goals as a sophomore... Holds the team's highest GPA, earning Academic All-MPSF honors.
2004: In her 2004 freshman season, Mayer recorded four goals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Mayer earned All-CIF and All-Pacific Coast League first team honors in her senior season at University High in Irvine, Calif... Earned All-America second team honors in her junior season... Named University High's female scholar-athlete of the year in her senior season.
