HIGH SCHOOL: Manderino had a successful prep career at Newport Harbor High in Newport Beach, Calif, earning All-American honors as a senior...was a two-time All-CIF pick and a three-time All-Sea View League selection...as a senior, she scored 64 goals and accumulated 54 assists and 51 steals...won the CIF title in her senior year and twice was a member of the league championship squad.
PERSONAL: Majoring in biological sciences...her father, Paul, played football at Michigan State, while her mother, Vicki, was a gymnast there...birthdate is May 23, 1981.
