2002: Johnson concludes her USC career as a key two-meter player in her 2002 senior season.
COACH VAVIC SAYS: "Suzannah is one of our more experienced two-meter players. She is a strong player and has a lot of toughness to her game. She will be valuable in giving some rest to our other players."
2001: Switched back to her natural position in the field (two-meter) as a junior in 2001...registered 13 goals on the season.
2000: Showed her versatility by spending her 2000 sophomore season as the team's No. 1 goalie...registered five saves in the national championship match against UCLA and eight against Stanford in the national semifinal match.
1999: Had an impressive 1999 freshman campaign, scoring 24 goals (sixth best on the team)...her season-best effort was four goals against San Diego State...also had a three-goal effort against San Jose State...scored two goals at the National Championships...scored a winning goal at UCLA in the last second of the second overtime.
HIGH SCHOOL: Johnson was an All-American at Lynbrook High in San Jose...earned Central Coast Section MVP and San Jose Mercury News Player of the Year honors as a senior...also named MVP of the Santa Clara Valley League as a senior, and an All-Section first teamer as a junior...scored 102 goals as a senior and 98 goals as a junior...her high school team won the Central Coast Section title her senior year and league titles her final two years...also played with the Nordic water polo club and was an All-American.
PERSONAL: Johnson has competed with the U.S. Junior "B" team and the National Youth Team...has a 3.12 GPA at USC and is majoring in international relations...birthdate is Oct. 29, 1979.
