USC hosts CSU Bakersfield to round out the regular season at McDonald's Swim Stadium.
THIS SEASON: Kara-Leigh Huse enters her final season at USC as added strength for the Trojans at the two-meter slot to go along with a solid shot from the perimeter.
2011: Huse scored six goals as a junior, with goals scored in six different games.
2010: Huse scored 10 goals as a sophomore... Scored in eight different games... Set her career high with a hat trick in USC's season opener vs. Long Beach State... Also scored a goal in USC's NCAA first-round win over Marist.
2009: Huse scored five goals as a true freshman... Scored in five different games, including one in the NCAA first round.
HIGH SCHOOL: Huse was a three-time selection to the Pasadena Star News All-Area Team and was the MVP in 2008 as a senior out of La Salle High... Earned 2007 All-CIF Division IV First Team honors and named to All-CIF DIII Second Team in 2006... Named league MVP in th 2006, 2007 and 2008... Holds CIF record for most goals scored in a career (620), in a season (183 in 2008 and 166 in 2006) and in a game (14)... Played club for Commerce... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Huse is majoring in fine arts and would like to pursue a career in fashion design... Parents are William and Jennie... Mother Jennie player water polo at UC Santa Barbara...
