THIS SEASON: A member of the U.S. National Team and an ever-improving 2-meter player, Durley should be among the nation's best as a 2000 junior. She is a team captain in 2000.

COACH VAVIC SAYS: "Jennifer, as always, has been working very hard. We're still trying to define her role because she can do so many things. She is definitely a go-to player."

1999: After another outstanding season, Durley earned All-American second team, All-MPSF first team, All-National Championships honorable mention and All-MPSF Tournament first team honors as a 1999 sophomore. She scored 32 goals, good for fourth on the team. She had a career-high four goals against Hawai'i in a conference game, then was named Rainbow Challenge MVP after scoring five goals in three games. Those efforts earned her MPSF Player of the Week honors. She had nine multiple-goal games. She scored three goals at the National Championships.

1998: Durley had a phenomenal freshman season in 1998, proving herself as a 2-meter player to watch for years to come. She finished second on USC with 42 goals and was named All-American honorable mention, All-MPSF third team and All-National Championships honorable mention. Durley had a midseason seven-game scoring streak (15 goals) and also scored in each of the season's final seven games (10 goals). She scored one goal in each of the four games at the National Championships. Durley scored a season-high three goals five times.

HIGH SCHOOL: Jennifer was MVP of the Thousand Oaks (Calif.) High team as a sophomore and senior. The team went 23-5 in her senior year. As a swimmer, she made the All-Marmonte League first team in both 1996 and 1997 and was also team MVP those two years. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a life member in the California Scholastic Federation.

PERSONAL: She has a 3.21 grade-point average at USC and is majoring in history. Jennifer made the 1998 and 1999 AWPCA All-Academic team. She enjoys surfing and ocean swimming and has worked as a California state lifeguard. Her birthdate is Aug. 27, 1979.
