WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- USC senior All-America setter Kendall Bateman (Manhattan Beach/Mira Costa HS) has been named the Bank of the West Pac-12 Conference Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today. The weekly honors reflect performances for the week of Sept. 19-25.

Bateman posted two 40+ assists matches in the sweep of then-No. 1 California and No. 2 Stanford at home last weekend, averaging 13.83 assists per set. She had 42 assists, seven digs and two blocks against the top-ranked Bears, while directing the offense to a .271 hitting percentage. Against the Cardinal, she collected 41 assists, nine digs and one block, helping the Women of Troy extend their win streak to four matches. With the victories, USC jumped up to No. 5 in this week's AVCA Coaches poll after being ranked No. 12 last week.

It is the second-career Pac-12 weekly recognition for Bateman and USC's 47th all-time.

USC travels to Colorado on Friday and Utah on Sunday.
