Meet The 2013 Women of Troy at Sunday Open Practice|

LOS ANGELES - Trojan fans can get their first glimpse at the 2013 USC women's volleyball team during a special open practice on Sunday, August 11, at the Galen Center Practice Pavilion from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
Limited general seating will be available and admission is free to the general public. The Women of Troy will run drills and hold instrasquad scrimmage sessions during the open practice. Following practice, fans will be able to meet and greet players and coaches.
The Galen Center is located at 3400 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, Calif., and the entrance to the practice pavilion is at the intersection of Figueroa and USC McCarthy Way near campus gate No. 3.
USC opens its fall camp on Saturday (Aug. 10). The Trojans were selected to finish second in the Pac-12 in a preseason poll of the conference's coaches. The league's coaches also chose senior libero Natalie Hagglund and sophomore outside hitter Samantha Bricio to the first-ever preseason all-conference team.
Last year, the Trojans appeared in their fourth NCAA regional final in six years. Hagglund became a two-time AVCA All-American and Bricio was chosen as the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year as well as a third-team All-American by Volleyball Magazine and its National Freshman of the Year. USC finished in third place in the Pac-12 with a 15-5 record (30-6 overall).
Under 13th-year head coach Mick Haley (37th year overall), the Trojans open 2013 on the road at the Mortar Board Premiere hosted by Purdue (Aug. 30-31) in West Lafayette, Ind. USC will play its first home match against UC Irvine at 7 p.m. PT on Wednesday (Sept. 18). The Trojans will face the Anteaters in a nationally televised match on ESPNU.
