USC sophomore libero Natalie Hagglund (Encinitas/La Costa Canyon HS) earned the Best Libero award at the FIVB Volleyball Women's Junior World Championship Peru 2011 after posting a 56.99 success percentage on 365 total attempts. She averaged 4.90 digs per set, the second-highest total in the tournament for Team USA.

The U.S. Junior National Team finished fourth in the tournament, falling to China in the bronze-medal match.

The USC women's volleyball team is coming off their sixth NCAA Final Four appearance in the last 11 years. This is the first time since 2004 that USC will have at least three All-Americans returning on its roster with seniors Alex Jupiter, Kendall Bateman and Lauren Williams.

USC begins the 2011 season by playing in the AVCA Showcase (Aug. 26-27) in University Park, Pa. against Big 10 powers Minnesota and four-time defending national champion Penn State.
