    CONEGLIANO, Italy -- Former USC women's volleyball player Katie Olsovsky (Torrance, Calif.) scored a match-high 11 points Saturday as the United States Women's Volleyball Training Team won the best two-of-three match over Slovenian club Nova KBM Branik Maribor. She registered eight kills and three blocks in the 25-23, 17-25, 15-6 victory.

    Olsovsky (2000-03) was a member of USC's national championship squads in 2002 and 2003 and currently playing on Team USA, along with former USC libero Nicole Davis (2000-03).

    Team USA continues the tour with matches against a pair of Italian A1-division teams on Wednesday and Thursday.
