On Monday, Feb. 24, the national champion women's volleyball team was invited to The White House by President George W. Bush.

After meeting with the President, the Women of Troy entered the East Room to the playing of Fight On by a Marine Corps quartet.

 In the East Room, each team was represented on the podium with gifts for the President.


 President Bush congratulated the student-athletes and encouraged them to be role models.
Senior Lauren Killian presented President Bush with a Cardinal and Gold USC volleyball signed by the team.

 The rest of the team looks on as President thanks the athletes for the gifts.

 President Bush hung on to the signed volleyball as he exited the room.
