    Natalie Hagglund Honored At San Diego Hall of Champions Dinner

    USC sophomore All-American libero Natalie Hagglund is being honored as one of the 2011 Amateur Stars of the Year at the San Diego Hall of Champions' 66th Annual Salute to the Champions dinner on Wednesday (Feb. 15) at the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center in San Diego.

    Hagglund, who prepped at La Costa Canyon High in Carlsbad, has been the starting libero on Women of Troy teams that advanced to the past two NCAA Final Fours.

    The San Diego Hall of Champions dinner will honor a number of athletes who hail from or play in San Diego and who excelled in 2011, including action sports star Shaun White, Arian Foster of the Houston Texans, Cameron Maybin of the San Diego Padres, Eric Weddle of the San Diego Chargers and Adrian Gonzalez of the Boston Red Sox. The dinner also will feature the 2012 inductees into the Breitbard Hall of Fame, including former USC running back C.R. Roberts.
