    • USC improved to 6-1 all-time against New Mexico and has won each of the last five meetings.
    • The Trojans won their 29th consecutive set and earned a ninth straight 3-0 sweep.
    • The Women of Troy earned their seventh home victory and remain undefeated at the Galen Center this season.
    • Coaches on the floor had a Ball State connection in this match. USC head coach Mick Haley, New Mexico head coach Jeff Nelson, and USC volunteer assistant coach Kyle Weindel are each Ball State men's volleyball alum.
    • With 21 kills in the match, senior OH Samantha Bricio moved ahead of April Ross (1,576 kills from 2000-03) into sixth place in program history for career kills. She now has 1,586 kills. Through the Trojans' four matches this week, Bricio went from ninth place to sixth place.
    • Junior libero Taylor Whittingham had 19 digs to log her ninth match with double-digit digs.
    • Freshman setter Baylee Johnson posted her third double-double of the season with 17 assists and 12 digs. It was her second double-double of the day.
    • Freshman OH Alyse Ford matched her career high with 11 kills in tonight's match with the Lobos.
