LOS ANGELES -- Junior outside hitter Kimmee Roleder (Pasadena/Pasadena HS) had 11 kills while hitting .526 (11-1-19) with a career-high seven blocks Saturday as the No. 16 USC Women of Troy swept the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-15), to win the 2009 Holiday Inn LA City Center Trojan Invitational. Roleder added two service aces and four digs for a USC team that hit a season-high .409 in the match.

Sophomore outside hitter Alex Jupiter led the Trojans (5-1) with 12 kills, hitting .385 with five digs and three blocks. Junior middle blocker Audrey Eichler had one of her best matches as a Trojan with four kills and nine blocks while junior Geena Urango had nine kills, seven digs and three service aces.

Lexi Sullivan led Northern Arizona (2-4) with 10 kills and five digs.

The Trojans took the 17-9 lead in the first set. After the Lumberjacks called a timeout, they cut the lead to three at 18-14. Sullivan's kill made it a two-point deficit at 20-18, but Lauren Williams and Jupiter registered kills to aid the Trojans, who hit .517 in the first set.

USC hosts UC Irvine on Tuesday (Sept. 8) in a non-conference match at 7 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on usctrojans.com by a video webcast.
