Career 2006 2005 Seilhamer played in every match during her 2005 junior season, setting school season records for digs (696) and digs per game (6.82) to register 2005 Asics/Volleyball Magazine All-American second team honors...named All-Pac-10...posted double figures in digs all 28 matches...had a career-high six assists twice (Aug. 27 vs. Cal Poly and Oct. 22 vs. Arizona)...tied the school record for digs in a four-game match with 36 on Sept. 9 against Notre Dame...recorded 82 digs in three matches against Top 25 teams, Notre Dame, Florida and Texas A&M, to earn all-tournament team honors at the UTSA Dome Rally (Sept. 9-11)...posted a career-high two kills and added 28 digs in a five-game loss on Sept. 24 at California...aided USC's four-game win on Sept. 30 at UCLA with 29 digs...earned Pac-10 Player of the Week honors after registering 57 digs in two matches (8.14 dpg average) on Oct. 21 and 22 against Arizona State and No. 8 Arizona...against Arizona State, she set the school record for most digs (27) in a three-game match (which she surpassed later in the season) and also recorded her 1,000th career dig...against Arizona, she was perfect in 21 serving attempts and did not have a reception error...on Oct. 28 against UCLA, she had 33 digs in the four-game win against the Bruins and did not have a reception error in 31 attempts against her...set a new school record, surpassing her previous one, for most digs in a four-game match with a 39-dig effort on Nov. 19 at Arizona State...set a new school record for most digs in a three-game match with 30 against Pepperdine on Dec. 3 in the secoind round of the NCAA Tournament...practiced over the summer with the U.S. National Training Team.
2004 As a sophomore, Seilhamer adopted a full-time starting role at libero...set a USC single season record with 571 digs on the season...averaged a school-record 5.39 digs per game, ranking her third in the Pac-10...posted double figures in digs in 26-of-29 matches this season...named All-Pac-10 honorable mention...in the first tournament of the year, she set a NACWAA Volleyball Classic record by collecting 30 digs against Minnesota on Aug. 28...against UCLA on Nov. 12, she set a USC program record (and five-game record) with 45 digs in the match...her performance against the Bruins, which also ranked second in Pac-10 history, led to her being named the Pac-10 Player of the Week on Nov. 15 (USC's first libero to earn the honor)...also named Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention...notched 12 and 15 digs in the first two rounds of NCAA Tournament play...named to the NCAA Louisville Regional all-tournament team after a 27-dig performance against San Diego (Dec. 10) and a 37-dig effort against Nebraska (Dec. 11). 2003 Seilhamer served as the team's backup libero for much of her freshman season and also contributed as a defensive specialist en route to the Women of Troy's 2003 NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP...played 33 matches, mainly as a substitute server...averaged 1.01 digs and 0.05 service aces per game...made her first collegiate appearance against Florida at the NACWAA State Farm Volleyball Classic on Aug. 22 and played in two games...collected a season-high eight digs at libero against Centenary on Sept. 12...also posted a service ace on four occasions and tallied six total assists during the season...trained with Puerto Rico's National Team during the summer of 2003. High School Seilhamer is a 2003 graduate of Colegio Ponceño in Ponce, Puerto Rico...played three years of varsity volleyball...also one of the school's top athletes in basketball, softball and track and field...honored as all-league of the Catholic Schools South Division as a senior (2003) and sophomore (2001)...honored as an all-state selection in 2001...named MVP of the Puerto Rico High School All-Star Game in 2003...led team to the high school championship in 2001 and 2003...played club volleyball for Caribenas (2003), Ponce Leonas (2002) and Volleygirls (2001)...led Puerto Rico Volleyball League in service aces and was named `Rookie of the Year' in 2001...also played for Puerto Rico's Junior Olympic Team for five years (1997-2001)...served as class president as a junior in 2002. Personal Debora Louise Seilhamer was born on Oct. 4, 1985, in Ponce, Puerto Rico...daughter of Larry Seilhamer and Linda Anadon...has two brothers, Esq. Dennis (26) and Eng. David (23), and one sister, Arch. Desireé (21)...father, Larry, and sister, Desireé, played in the Puerto Rican Pro Leagues in basketball and volleyball, respectively...names Nancy Metcalf of USA Volleyball as the toughest opponent she has ever played against...favorite television show is Friends...attended the same high school as ex-USC teammate Bibiana Candelas in 2002...majoring in international relations...after earning her degree, she will continue studies at the USC Law School while playing professionally in Puerto Rico and with the Puerto Rico National Team.
