    She made 12 starts in 19 matches after missing the first 15 matches of the season after undergoing a knee operation in the spring and dealing with a bout of mononucleosis...finished the season with 94 kills (1.68 kps) while hitting .388 with 10 digs (0.18 dps), 47 blocks (0.84 bps) and 122.5 points (2.18 pps)...during NCAA post-season play, she had four kills and five blocks on Dec. 15 against No. 7 Illinois in the national semifinal in San Antonio...recorded five blocks against Hawai'i and Pepperdine with seven and six kills, respectively, at the NCAA Honolulu Regional...opened the tournament with 11 kills and no errors while hitting .647 (11-0-17) with three blocks against Yale...in the second-round match with Tulsa, she posted a similar 11 kills and no errors with a .733 hitting clip (11-0-15) and two blocks...had six kills and six blocks (one solo, five assisted) in a 3-1 win on Nov. 25 at No. 4 UCLA...against Arizona State and Arizona (Nov. 18-19), she had 20 kills and no errors...tallied 11 kills while hitting .500 with four blocks against the Sun Devils and had nine kills while hitting .692 (9-0-13) the next evening against the Wildcats...in her first start of the season on Oct. 29 at No. 2 California, she posted eight kills for a .368 match (8-1-19) and five blocks (two solo)...recorded two kills and four blocks on Oct. 15 against Oregon State...made her season debut on Sept. 30 at Colorado.

    She played in every match as a freshman, making 25 starts...recorded 195 kills (1.73 kps) for a .366 hitting percentage with 16 assists (0.14 aps), 10 aces (0.09 aps), 29 digs (0.26 dps), 93 blocks (0.82 bps) and 259.0 points (2.29 pps)...finished fifth among Pac-10 Conference players for hitting percentage...named to the Pac-10 Conference All-Freshman Team...had three kills and three blocks in the NCAA national semifinal on Dec. 16 against No. 4 California...in the Dayton Regional final against No. 3 Stanford, she hit .636 on eight kills (8-1-11) with three blocks...during the Trojans' second-round match in the NCAA Tournament against No. 18 San Diego, she missed her season-highs by one for kills with 11 and blocks with eight against the No. 18 Toreros...had a season-high nine blocks to go with eight kills in a five-set win on Nov. 26 at No. 9 UCLA...in two wins at Oregon State and No. 23 Oregon (Nov. 19-20), she had 14 kills combined and hit .583 (8-1-12) against Oregon State with four blocks and .417 (6-1-12) against Oregon...had 15 combined kills with no errors for a .625 hitting clip in wins against Washington State and No. 7 Washington (Oct. 29-30)...had seven kills on 10 swings (.700) with two digs and two blocks against WSU and eight kills on 14 swings (.571) with three blocks (two solo) against Washington...on Oct. 22 against No. 16 Oregon, she had 10 kills and six blocks and followed it up the next night with eight kills and a .636 night (8-1-11) in a 3-0 sweep of Oregon State...had 10 kills and no errors with three solo blocks on Oct. 16 in a five-set win at No. 25 Arizona...recorded a season-high 12 kills in a .500 night with two blocks on Oct. 9 against No. 7 California...her block, along with teammate Alex Jupiter, while USC was down 14-12 in the fifth set against the Golden Bears sparked a 5-1 run as the Women of Troy pulled out the victory...against No. 1 Stanford on Oct. 8, she had nine kills with no errors and three blocks for a .450 night...was a perfect 1.000 in eight attempts with one assist on Sept. 21 at UC Irvine, her third straight match where she recorded eight kills...third on the team with 26.0 points during the Fresno State Invitational (Sept. 17-18) with 16 kills and a team-high five service aces...registered five kills and four blocks in a 3-0 sweep on Aug. 28 against Bucknell...in her collegiate debut on Aug. 27 against Loyola Marymount, she had three kills, one ace, four digs and two blocks.

    She was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Mead High in Spokane, Wash., under coach Judy Kight...she was rated as the No. 5 recruit in the nation by Prep Volleyball as a senior...played for the 2009 U.S. Women's Junior National Team and was an alternate for the 2008 squad...was a finalist for the Prep Volleyball National Player of the Year honor and 2010 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection...at the 2009 FIVB Junior World Championship in Mexico, she finished fourth in blocks among all players and 20th in scoring...was an integral part of three state championship squads (2006, 2007 and 2009) and was named 2009 Gatorade State Player of the Year as well as 2009 Inland Northwest Junior Female Athlete of the Year...during the 2009 4A state championship, she recorded 33 kills, 10 blocks and 13 digs and was named tournament most valuable player...earned all-state first team honors in her 2009 senior, 2008 junior and 2007 sophomore seasons...she was Mead's team captain in her junior and senior seasons as was named team most valuable player...earned All-Greater Spokane League first team honors all four years...named to the all-tournament team for the 2007 and 2009 Beach City Invitational as well as the 2008 Emerald City Classic...named to the 2005 USA Volleyball High Performance A3 roster...played club volleyball for SCVC U-18 in 2010, Spokane Splash U-18 in 2008 and 2009 and Storm U-18 in 2006 and 2007.
