    The sixth-seeded Women of Troy fell, 3-0, to third-seeded Texas in the Austin Regional Final.

    Hannah Schraer enters her senior season as a middle blocker for the Women of Troy... selected to the USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team that played in the Junior National Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.

    As a junior, Schraer was chosen for Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention... ranked sixth in the Pac-12 for hitting percentage (.348, 159k, 39e, 345att)... finished with 159 kills (1.38 kps) and 116 blocks (1.01 bps)... ranked second on the team in blocks... recorded career-high 10 kills (0e, 13att) for a .769 hitting percentage against Arizona State (Oct. 18)... logged one of two double-digit blocks matches for the Women of Troy with 10.0 against Purdue (Aug. 30)... finished with 229.0 points (1.99 pps) and reached double-digit points in four matches.

    Schraer was used sparingly as a sophomore following her recovery from an illness... appeared in 17 matches and played in 26 sets... recorded 37 kills (1.42 kps), hit .384, and had 15 blocks (three solo)... had a season-high nine kills against Boston College (Sept. 1) and notched a season-high 12.0 points.

    Schraer recorded 133 kills (1.75 kps) as a freshman while hitting .383 with 45 blocks (0.60 bps)... finished third among all Pac-12 players for hitting percentage... earned 2011 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team honorable mention... played a big factor off the bench on December 10 in the NCAA Honolulu Regional final against No. 18 Pepperdine, recording six kills with no errors and four blocks (two solo)... her final kill in the fifth set sent the Women of Troy to the NCAA Final Four... hit .714 on six kills on October 7 at Arizona and followed the next night with by recording season highs in kills (12) and blocks (five)... against No. 1 California on Sept. 23, she hit .600 on a season-high nine kills (9-0-15) without recording a hitting error... hit .889 (8-0-9) with a solo block against Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 2 and had seven kills in a .636 match (7-0-11) the following day against Furman... made an impressive collegiate debut at the Rockvale Outlets/AVCA Showcase... recorded 11 kills and seven blocks in two matches against No. 12 Minnesota and No. 1 Penn State while hitting .400 (11-1-25).

    Schraer was a four-year varsity letterwinner and starter at Mayfield Senior School in Arcadia, Calif., under coach Ernest Banaag... member of the 2007 and 2008 CIF-SS 4AA championship squads... member of the 2009 CIF-SS 3A championship squad... earned all-state second team and All-CIF first team honors in her senior season... named team most valuable player as a senior while earning Pasadena Star-News all-area first team honors... rated as the No. 32 Senior Ace by Prep Volleyball... earned Pasadena Star-News all-area first team honors as a junior and second team honors as a sophomore... member of the 2009 U.S. A-2 Select High Performance team... played club volleyball for Club Troy 18s team that finished fifth in the 2010 Junior Olympics open division.
