USC Volleyball Defeats Arizona 3-1TUCSON, Ariz. -- The USC Women's volleyball team defeated Pacific-10 Conference foe Arizona 15-13, 13-15, 15-13, 16-14 in a close four-game match Friday night in Tucson. The Trojans improved their record to 14-5 (8-3 in the Pac-10), while the Wildcats dropped to 14-8 (5-7).
Jasmina Marinkovic led the way for the Women of Troy with 26 kills and an efficient .477 hitting percentage. Setter Janice Mounts posted 66 assists for USC, while Vesna Dragicevic chipped in 24 kills.
Arizona was led by Barb Bell, who tied Marinkovic with a match-high 26 kills.
USC concludes its Arizona road trip Saturday at 7 p.m. against Arizona State.
