USC Tops Arizona in Four

    TUCSON, Ariz. -- Sophomore Jennifer Kessy posted 21 kills and 22 digs leading No. 17 USC to a 16-14, 15-7, 9-15, 15-8 victory over Arizona in Pac-10 volleyball Sunday afternoon. The Trojans improved to 9-4, 3-2 in the league while UA dropped to 12-4 and 3-3.

    Six of Arizona's last eight opponents have been ranked in the top 20.

    Senior Barb Bell had a team season-high 25 kills to pace the Cats. Freshman Erin Aldrich added 20 kills and hit .395 for the match.

    Arizona returns to action Friday, Oct. 11, when the Cats travel to Tempe to croos-state rival Arizona State at 7 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 13, UA plays host to the U.S. National Team in an exhibition match at 5 p.m.
