    Women Of Troy Defeated By Beavers 3-1

    LOS ANGELES -- Led by Heather Lowe's 21 kills, the Orgon State Beavers defeated the USC Trojans 7-15, 15-8, 15-10, 15-9 Friday night in the Pacific-10 Confernce opener for both teams.

    The loss puts USC at 6-2 (0-1) for the year, while Oregon State stays undefeated at 11-0 (1-0).

    Vesna Dragicevic and Jasmina Marinkovic each posted 21 kills for USC, but Oregon State out-hit USC .248-.195.

    USC next takes on Oregon in Los Angeles Saturday night at 7 p.m.
