    June 13, 2007

The USC men's and women's tennis teams combined for five honorees on the Pac-10 All-Academic lists for 2006-07, as three Trojans earned repeat honors and two picked up their first career academic accolades. Now a three-time honoree, senior Anca Anastasiu appears on the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team for the third season to lead her Trojan counterparts. Senior Jamil Al-Agba is an honorable mention recipient for the third straight season, as is junior Lindsey Nelson. Making his first appearance on the All-Academic honorable mention list is junior Kaes Van't Hof, and in her first season of eligibility for the honor, sophomore Amanda Fink also has earned honorable mention.

The Pac-10 awards All-Academic honors to student-athletes with a minimum 3.0 GPA who have completed at least a year of academics prior to their season of competition and who are significant contributors to their respective teams. Leading the way on the women's side as a three-time first-teamer is USC's 2006 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Anca Anastasiu, who boasts a 3.88 GPA as a business administration major. Amanda Fink is next with a 3.30 GPA, majoring in psychology; and two-time Honda Award finalist Lindsey Nelson holds a 3.14 GPA as a creative writing major.

On the men's side, three-time All-Academic pick Jamil Al-Agba has a 3.29 GPA as a senior business major, and first-time selection Kaes Van't Hof has improved to a 3.17 GPA as a junior majoring in business and accounting.
