Stubbs and Olmos Named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week|

USC CREDIT UNION MEN'S STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Overall on the week, Stubbs went 11-22 from the plate with five runs scored and five runs batted in. At 8-0, USC baseball is off to its best start in school history since 1988. The Trojans look to remain undefeated when they head up to Fresno, Calif. to face Fresno State on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 6:35 p.m.
Also nominated for men's student-athlete of the week honors: Cary Wright (swimming).
USC CREDIT UNION WOMEN'S STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Olmos brought all of her momentum into the next day in a dual-match against Saint Mary's. At singles, #22 Olmos took care of business with a 6-0, 6-4 victory over #48 Danielle Flores to give the Trojans a 5-2 win. The junior is now 24-7 at singles on the season and is currently on a four-match winning streak. The Women of Troy are next scheduled to travel to face off against crosstown rival UCLA in Westwood, Calif. on Wednesday, March 4, at 1:30 p.m.

The USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week are voted on by the student assistants and Sports Information Directors of the USC Sports Information Office. Nominations are compiled and distributed for voting by Alec Koondel. Student assistant voters include Rachel Dobrin, Robby Kolanz, Dru Chavez, Colette Garcia, Melissa Martino, Andrew McKagan, Max Schwartz and intern Katie Ryan.
