OJAI, CALIF. -- USC women's tennis was in winning form on all fronts today in Ojai, grabbing decisive wins in every semifinal played today in all four brackets. The Women of Troy have a shot at sweeping the Pac-12 Singles and Doubles Championships, with an upset-minded Zoe Scandalis headed to the Singles Championship match and doubles duo Kaitlyn Christian and Giuliana Olmos bound for the Doubles Championship bout. Christian is a two-time defending doubles champ, having won the last two Pac-12 titles with teammate Sabrina Santamaria. Meanwhile, in the Invitational brackets, Olmos is through to the singles final there, while Scandalis is paired with Brynn Boren for tomorrow's doubles title match. The championship matches will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks.

The No. 6 seed in singles action, #27 junior Zoe Scandalis served up another smooth upset during today's semifinals. She powered past No. 3 seed Anett Schutting with a decisive 6-3, 6-2 win over the #19-ranked Golden Bear - her second straight-set win over a top-20 ranked opponent in two days out at Ojai. She'll go to work on another upset tomorrow at 10 a.m. when she squares off against top-seeded #11 Jennifer Brady of UCLA to play for the Pac-12 Singles crown.

Now a full-fledged veteran of doubles championship bouts, senior Kaitlyn Christian has a new but very much capable partner at her side for this year's trip to the Pac-12 Doubles final with teammate Giuliana Olmos. Together, the two have turned heads in not surrendering more than two games in a match, most recently dishing out an 8-2 win over UCLA's Dolehide/Van Nguyen in today's semifinals. That puts Christian and Olmos up against top seeds as well. They'll go up against Stanford's #9 Ahn/Zhao at 1 p.m. tomorrow to fight for what would be a third straight Pac-12 crown for Christian and a first for Olmos.

Olmos and Scandalis' workday tomorrow won't be limited to Championship efforts, however. Olmos has plowed through Invitational singles with a string of straight-set wins. Today, the #70 ranked junior took down the top seed in that draw, dropping #52 Caroline Doyle of Stanford with a 6-2, 6-3 win. That punches Olmos through to an 8 a.m. invitational title match against Cal's No. 5 seeded Klara Fabikova before Olmos takes to the doubles courts with Christian.

After Scandalis competes for the Pac-12 Singles Championship, she will battle in the Invitational doubles draw alongside senior Brynn Boren. Together, the pair blasted the No. 3 seeded Utah duo of Gerstner Da Rosa/Richter with an 8-3 semifinal win today to barrel into tomorrow's 11 a.m. invitational doubles title match against ASU's Jump/Smith.
