OJAI, CALIF. -- USC senior Amanda Fink has another full slate for set for tomorrow at the Pac-10 Championships in Ojai, Calif. A smooth quarterfinal singles win by Fink puts the senior on a path toward a repeat appearance in the singles title match, as she sets up for a semifinal match against Stanford's fifth-ranked Hilary Barte tomorrow at 11 a.m. Tomorrow afternoon, Fink is slated to team back up with Gabriela Niculescu for a doubles semifinal clash at 3:30 p.m.

Ranked #9, Fink/Niculescu posted a pair of wins today in the Pac-10 Doubles bracket. The Trojans topped Stanford's Hansen/Li 8-5 in the first round and then took down UCLA's #66 Seguso/Wetmore 8-6 in today's quarterfinals to punch the defending Pac-10 Doubles champs' ticket to tomorrow's semifinals in Ojai. In between those doubles showdowns, #27 Fink went up against Stanford's #84 Jessica Nguyen in today's singles quarterfinals. The Trojan senior pinned up a decisive 6-1, 6-1 win over her Cardinal opponent to make a powerful move into a semifinal slot against highly ranked Barte tomorrow.

While Fink and Niculescu were battling on the Pac-10 Championship side of the bracket, Invitational play was going strong as well in Ojai. Cristala Andrews had both singles and doubles competition on her plate for the day. First up was the sophomore's third singles match of the tournament, as she went up against UCLA's Stephanie Wetmore in the Invitational singles quarterfinals. Wetmore got the win, however, in a 6-3, 6-3 decision over Andrews. Later in the day for doubles, Andrews teamed up with fellow sophomore Lyndsay Kinstler for an Invitational doubles quarterfinal against Stanford's Brycki/vanHorne, falling 8-6 in that match to wrap up USC's run in the Pac-10 Invitational action.
