Madison, Wisc. -- No. 13 USC (6-2) women's tennis fell to No. 4 Georgia, 6-2, in the second round of the USTA/ITA National Women's Team Indoor Championships today, Feb. 18, in Madison, Wisc. Hosted by the University of Wisconsin, the tournament is utilizing an experimental format where a match tie-breaker (first to 10, win by two) is played in place of a third set in singles. Teams are also awarded two points, instead of one, for sweeping the doubles matches.

The Trojans earned two points in singles matches at the No. 4 and 5 positions. USC's No. 56 Jacqui Boyd upset No. 10 Lori Grey, 6-1, 7-6 (9-7), and No. 93 Anita Loyola defeated Georgia's No. 78 Kelly Baskin, 6-3, 6-2.
