THIS SEASON: Sabrina Santamaria is in her second season at USC, entering the 2013 spring season ranked No. 1 in the nation in doubles with teammate Kaitlyn Christian following their run to a second straight ITA National Indoor Doubles Championship in the fall, and ranked No. 17 in the nation in singles... Went 9-3 in singles inthe fall, reaching the ITA Southwest Regional final and the quarterfinals of the ITA National Indoor... Went 9-0 in doubles with Christian in the fall, winning the ITA/Riviera All-American Doubles Championship as well.

2011-12: Santamaria finished her freshman season ranked No. 13 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 3 in doubles with partner Kaitlyn Christian... Winners of the ITA National Indoor Doubles Championship, the pair also won the Pac-12 Doubles Championship and was named Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year... Named to the ITA Collegiate All-Star Team and was an ITA All-American in singles and doubles... Also named to All-Pac-12 Second Team... Appeared in the NCAA Doubles Round of 32 as the No. 4 seeded team with Christian... Reached the NCAA Singles Quarterfinals, with an upset of No. 8 seed Chelsea Gullickson of Georgia in the First Round... Went 38-8 overall in singles, going 23-2 in dual matches... Went 21-2 at the No. 3 position and was 2-0 at No. 2... Went 3-1 in singles during the NCAA Team Tournament, named to NCAA All-Tournament Team for the No. 3 singles position... In doubles, was 34-13 overall, going 15-9 in dual matches... Was 14-9 at the No. 1 position and 33-13 overall with Christian... Also was 1-0 with Danielle Lao... Entered the spring ranked No. 18 in singles and No. 3 in doubles with Christian... Won the ITA Regional Singles Championship, beating teammate Zoë Scandalis in the final... Also reached the ITA Regional doubles final with Christian before going on to become the become the first-ever USC team -- male or female -- to win the ITA National Indoor Doubles Championship... Entered the fall unranked in singles and No. 18 in doubles with Christian... Won the ITF Evansville Open doubles title over the summer.

HIGH SCHOOL: Santamaria led Campbell Hall High to back-to-back CIF Division I team championships while also winning the CIF Southern Section singles title in 2010 and doubles title in 2009... At Campbell Hall in North Hollywood, Calif., she was a four-time LA Daily News Player of the Year and a two-time All-American... Also named Southern California High School Player of the Year in 2010 and was the 2011 CalHi Sports Female Athlete of the Year... Was rated the No. 1 recruit in the nation by tennisrecruiting.net... Career best WTA singles ranking was 819, and was 797 in doubles... Won 2008 ITF Panama Bowl doubles title and back-to-back $10,000 pro circuit doubles titles... Placed third in the 14s at the 2007 Easter Bowl... Represented the United States at the 2007 Bonnebelle Cup and 2007 North American Junior Challenger... Also competed for Southern California at the 2007 Maze Cup and the Fed Cup in 2008 and 2009... An honor student.

Has been involved with Amnesty International... Hopes to travel to Greece... Has not declared a major but hopes to pursue a degree in kinesiology and go on to graduate school for medicine or physical therapy.
