THIS SEASON: Paige Keating enters her first season at USC as a transfer from Ole Miss.
AT OLE MISS: Keating played two seasons at Ole Miss... As a sophomore, went 0-7 in singles and 2-5 in doubles in 20012-13... Went 0-10 in singles and 3-7 in doubles in her first season at Ole Miss... A member of the Student-Athlete Academic Committee's executive board in 2012.
HIGH SCHOOL: Keating was ranked the No. 1 doubles player in Northern California out of Menlo-Atherton High in 2011... Also ranked a top-20 singles player in girls 16s and 18s for Northern California Section... Won three straight team titles in the Peninsula Athletic League... A two-time individual league finalist... Three-time all-league first team honoree... Played at No. 1 positions for NorCal Zone Team in 2009 and also competed for Blossom Hill Aces... Also was on the track team, competing in the 4x400, 800m, mile and high jump events... An honor student, participated in the Wunderfest Science Challenge in 2009.
PERSONAL: Paige Elizabeth Keating was born Dec. 12, 1992 in Redwood City, Calif.... Daughter of Brian and Katie... Has one sister, Brooke... Her parents both attended USC... Her father Brian swam at USC and her mother Katie was on the track team... Her uncle Shawn Keating also swam at USC... Several other aunts and uncles competed in collegiate athletics... Says going to the London Olympic Games as her most thrilling moment in sports... Enjoys spending time with friends and family in her free time... Lists Tim Tebow as her biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to visit every state in the U.S.... Hopes to travel to Wales, Scotland, Denmark, Russia and the Netherlands... A member of Delta Gamma sorority... Has not declared a major but hopes to work in public relation in either fashion or sports after graduation.
