Jaime Pagliano enters her first season with the Women of Troy... Did not compete in the fall.
PREP EXPERIENCE:
Pagliano is a 2001 graduate of Peninsula High in Palos Verdes, Calif. ... Played four years of varsity tennis... She and prep partner Christine Setian played at No. 1 doubles, capturing the CIF doubles championship in 2001... A three-time Bay League doubles champion (1998, 1999, 2000)... A first team All-Bay League selection as a freshman and junior... Helped lead team to the CIF Division I championship as a sophomore, junior and senior and the finals as a freshman... Peninsula won the Bay League championship in 1999 and 2001... Setian and Pagliano earned league first team honors as freshmen and juniors and were ranked No. 1 nationally as juniors and seniors... Named the 2001 Bay League doubles MVP... Served as the 2000 team captain... A member of the National Honors Society.
PERSONAL:
Jamie Michele Pagliano was born on Jan. 1, 1983, in Torrance, Calif. ... The daughter of John and Ellen Pagliano, she is an only child... Her father attended Occidental College on a track & field scholarship... Lists waterskiing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, dirtbiking and shopping as some of her favorite pastimes away from tennis... Her major is undeclared but she would like to pursue a career in the television and film industry.
