THIS SEASON:
Krissy Hamilton-Heinberg enters her third season at USC... Qualified for the fall Rolex Regional in both singles and doubles with partner Caroline Christian.

2000:
After suffering from a shoulder injury at the end of her freshman season, Hamilton-Heinberg played as a reserve in 2000, primarilyat No. 7 ... She posted a 5-2 record in dual matches and a 7-5 record overall ... The year was highlighted with a breakout performance at the Pac-10 Invitational where she was one of two USC players to advance to the tournament quarterfinals before falling to Elizabeth Schmidt of UCLA ... In doubles, she posted a 0-2 record with Caroline Christian and a 1-0 mark with Jewel Peterson.

1999:
Hamilton-Heinberg earned a starting position as a 1999 redshirt freshman and went 14-16 overall and 11-13 in dual matches ... She saw action at the lower end of the ladder, primarily No. 5, where she went 8-7 ... She also went 5-4 overall in doubles ... She was No. 93 in the preseason rankings.

1998:
One of the top recruits in the nation, Hamilton-Heinberg did not see any action due to a shoulder injury ... She was No. 88 in the preseason rankings.

PREP EXPERIENCE:
Hamilton-Heinberg did not play tennis at the Bridges Academy in Sherman Oaks (Calif.) but began playing in professional tournaments (as an amateur) at the age of 14 ... She became the top-ranked junior in Southern California when she was 13 years old ... She was No. 4 when she was 12 years old ... Krissy is currently ranked 450th in the world ... At age 15, Krissy was ranked fifth in the nation among juniors ... She has won every designated junior tournament in California ... She once reached the semifinals of a pro satellite tournament in Williamsburg, Va. ... At age 14, she won a qualifying match at the pro tournament in Indian Wells ... Krissy had a 3.6 grade-point average at the Bridges Academy.
