    The Trojans have four men and six women in action in New York this week.

    THIS SEASON: Brynn Boren enters her first season at USC as a transfer from Tennessee.

    2012-13 SEASON (TENNESSEE): Boren was a 2013 ITA All-American in doubles following a run to the NCAA Doubles semifinals with teammate Kata Szekely, falling to USC's eventual champions Kaitlyn Christian and Sabrina Santamaria... Went 24-17 overall in singles, going 13-9 in dual matches at the No. 1 position... In doubles, went 41-8 overall, going 20-5 in dual matches... Won the 2012 ITA Ohio Valley Region Doubles Championship... Played in first round of NCAA Singles Championships... Finished the 2013 season ranked No. 26 in the nation in singles and No. 5 in doubles with Szekely.

    2011-12 SEASON (TENNESSEE): Boren was named ITA Ohio Valley Region Player to Watch as a sophomore at Tennessee... Also named to All-SEC First Team... Reached NCAA Singles Round of 32... Went 25-13 overall in singles, going 16-7 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 2 position, going 8-4 there... Also played at No. 1 (6-3) and No. 3 (2-0)... In doubles, went 29-10 overall with a 18-7 mark in dual matches... Reached second round of NCAA Singles Championships... Finished the 2012 season ranked No. 31 in the nation in singles and No. 31 in doubles with Sarah Toti.

    2010-11 SEASON (TENNESSEE): Boren was named ITA Ohio Valley Region Rookie of the Year as a freshman at Tennessee... Also named to All-SEC Second Team and to the SEC All-Freshman Team... A three-time SEC Freshman of the Week... Earned a spot on the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll... Went 30-11 overall in singles, going 15-5 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 3 position, going 10-4 there... Also appeared at No. 1 (0-1) and No. 2 (5-0)... In doubles, went 19-8 overall with a 9-2 mark in dual matches... Won the 2010 ITA Regional singles and doubles championships... Also won the 2010 SEC Fall Coaches Classic singles title in Flight Two and 2011 Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic doubles title... Played in first round of NCAA Singles Championships and reached Round of 16 in NCAA Doubles Championships... Finished the season ranked No. 47 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 20 in doubles with Natalie Pluskota.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Boren was ranked as the No. 12 player in the nation and a five-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net out of Laurel Springs High... Also ranked as the fifth-best player in the state of California... Led her school to the CIF Division I championships in 2007 and 2008... Captured the CIF individual doubles title in 2007.
