    USC Women's Tennis Tames Rebels

    LOS ANGELES - The University of Southern California women's tennis team beat a higher ranked team for the first time this season, getting past UNLV by a score of 5-4 Monday at Marks Tennis Courts.

    The Trojans won matches at the No. 3 through 6 spots helping to improve their record to 8-13.

    The doubles combination of Karolina Baklarova and Jacqui Boyd, playing at the No. 1 doubles spot, defeated the Rebels combination of Gee Gee Gravin and Marianee Vallin by a score of 8-4.

    USC returns to home action this Friday with a match against conference foe Stanford.
