Hawthorne, Stewart To Represent U.S. At Duel In The Pool|

USC senior Meghan Hawthorne and sophomore Kendyl Stewart will be part of the U.S. contingent that takes on Europe in the latest incarnation of the Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool, set for Dec. 20-21 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Hawthorne, a co-captain for the Trojans, is a two-time All-American in the 200y IM and won a silver in the 400m IM at the 2013 World University Games.
Stewart was a three-time All-American as a freshman in 2013, finishing fourth at the NCAA Championships in the 200y back. She won a Pac-12 title in the 100y fly, posting a school-record 53.24. She was a four-time finalist at the 2013 U.S. Summer Nationals and won a bronze at the 2013 World University Games as part of the 400m medley relay (she swam a prelim leg).
