    Trojan Diving Invitational Set For This Weekend
    Senior Victoria Ishimatsu will lead USC in the 10-team event.

    Senior All-American Victoria Ishimatsu, the Pac-10 Women's Diver of the Year the past three seasons, will lead USC as it hosts its annual Trojan Diving Invitational, Friday and Saturday (Nov. 4-5), at the USC McDonald's Swim Stadium.

    Joining USC in the diving pool will be Arizona, Air Force, BYU, California, CSU Bakersfield, Fresno State, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara and Wisconsin.

    Action begins Friday at 10 a.m. with the men's 3-meter prelim and the women's 1-meter prelim. Finals for both events start at 11:30 a.m. The men's and women's platform is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. On Saturday, the men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter prelims begin at 10 a.m. with finals starting at 11:30 a.m.

    As a 2011 junior, Ishimatsu became a five-time career Pac-10 champion with conference titles on 1-meter (her second) and 3-meter (her third). She was also fourth on platform and was named Pac-10 Female Diver of the Meet. At the 2011 NCAAs, Ishimatsu won the consolation final of the 1-meter springboard and, after striking her heel on a dive on 3-meter, came back to reach the consolation final of platform.

    Also last season, Ishimatsu qualified on all three boards for the first time on the national level at the 2011 U.S. Diving Winter Nationals. She finished fifth on 1-meter springboard, reached the semifinals of 3-meter and competed in the quarterfinals of platform (her first nationals competition on platform).

    A host of divers are set to make their USC debut, including freshmen Celia Pinczower, Jessie Warren, Jordan Gear and Jason Harter as well as junior Cody Walwick.
