    Captains Named For 2014-15 Swim Teams

    Junior Kendyl Stewart and senior Rebecca Heyliger on the women's team and seniors Andrew Malone and Cristian Quintero and sophomore Reed Malone on the men's team have been voted as captains for the 2014-15 USC swimming teams.

    Stewart was a two-time All-American as a 2014 sophomore on the 200y free and 400y medley relays and also scored on the 200y medley relay. She was a three-time All-American as a 2013 freshman as well as a 2013 Pac-12 champion in the 100y fly. Heyliger has been a strong reserve freestyler for the past three seasons and earned 2014 Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors, as did Stewart.

    Freestyler Reed Malone helped USC to an NCAA title in the 800y free relay as well as a Pac-12 title in the race as a 2014 freshman. Andrew Malone (no relation) is coming off his first NCAA appearance as 2014 junior breaststroker and earned 2014 Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention notice. Quintero won NCAA titles in the 500y free and 800y free relay and earned All-American honors in the 100y and 200y free and the 400y free relay. He also earned 2014 Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors.
