The USC women's swimming and diving team, which completed its dual meet schedule on Saturday with its sixth consecutive win over crosstown rival UCLA, maintained the No. 1 ranking in the final College Swim Coaches Association of America regular-season poll on Monday.

The Trojans improved to 10-1 overall and 6-1 in the Pac-12 with a 167.5-132.5 win over the Bruins. USC was led in the meet by junior Kasey Carlson, who led a school-record swim in the 200y medley relay and swept the 50y and 100y free.

USC, which has finished third at the past two NCAA Championships, returns to action Feb. 27-March 2 at the Pac-12 Championships in Federal Way, Wash.
