Senior Jessica Schmitt didn't qualify for the final, but did register a PR in the `B' final, taking 10th overall in 1:00.72 (B).
In the men's 100y breast, sophomore Sergio Lujan Rivera first lowered his PR to 53.63 (B) in prelims but just missed the final, qualifying as the top seed in the `B' final. He proceeded to win the `B' final with a new PR of 53.22, which made him the third-fastest Trojan ever in the race with a strong `B' cut.
Stewart followed her strong swim in the 100y fly with a seventh in the 100y back in 53.09, a season best.
Senior Nick Karpov navigated a tough 100y back field with a PR of 46.98 (B) to nab the eighth spot in the final and he finished seventh in the final in 47.13. Sophomore Luca Spinazzola took eighth in 47.51.
USC took second in the 200y medley relay as senior Christel Simms, Carlson, Stewart and freshman Kasia Wilk clocked a 1:37.41, just off an A cut. In the 800y free relay, the squad of Tosky, Gardell, Lim and senior Kate Shumway won in 7:05.69 with a strong B cut.
The men's 200y medley relay of Spinazzola, Rivera, Bloch and junior Jack Wagner took third in 1:26.77 after going 1:26.63 in prelims, both B cuts. In the 800y free relay, USC's men also won as Bobrosky, senior Alex Lendrum, Wagner and sophomore Cristian Quintero clocked a 6:23.22, holding off a charging Texas quartet (6:23.48).
