Hosszu, Anderson Lead USC Win At WSU|

Senior Katinka Hosszu and junior Haley Anderson each won twice to lead USC to a 107-84 win in the second of back-to-back dual meet victories at Washington State, Saturday (Oct. 22), in Pullman, Wash., in the schools' first-ever meeting.
Hosszu won the 400y IM (4:12.23, NCAA `B' cut) and later claimed the 100y free in 58.42. Sophomore Stina Gardell was second in the 400y IM (4:17.64, NCAA `B' cut) while sophomore Meghan Hawthorne was third (4:20.38), just off a `B' cut.
Anderson won the 200y free in 1:51.34 and then took first in the 500y free in 4:50.92.
Junior Yumi So was off an NCAA `B' cut in the 100y fly by 0.01, winning in 54.63. Senior Tayna Krisman was second (57.73).
In the 50y free, Kasey Carlson won in 23.29, almost a full second ahead of junior teammate Christel Simms (24.26). Simms later notched the fastest 100y back time (57.14). Junior Lindsay Parrish was third (24.41) in the 50y free and second in the 100y free (53.02). Carlson, meanwhile, won the 100y breast in an NCAA `B' cut 1:02.50.
USC opened the meet with a win in the 400y medley relay (3:47.74) thanks to Simms, junior Jessica Schmitt, Krisman and Carlson. Troy's 200y free relay of Simms, So, Parrish and Carlson won in 1:35.12.
