    Ishimatsu Wins 1M At Zones, Clinches NCAA Spot

    Junior Haley Ishimatsu, the defending NCAA platform champion, clinched her return trip this year's NCAAs by winning the 1-meter springboard at the Zone E Championships today at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Thursday (March 13).

    Ishimatsu won the 1-meter with 580.20 points to clinch one of the eight women's spots available. She finished third in prelims. Sophomore Sam Adams was 27th in prelims while sophomore Natalie Kalibat, in her first trip to Zones, was 54th (198.75).

    On the men's side, sophomore Collin Pollard and junior Jordan Gear each made the finals of 3-meter, finishing 11th (692.20) and 16th (627.90), respectively.

    The meet continues Friday and Saturday.
