    Sophomore Haley Ishimatsu ran away with the women's platform while sophomore Jordan Gear led USC's efforts on the men's platform during the final day of the UCLA Diving Invitational in Westwood on Sunday (Jan. 13).

    Ishimatsu, who won the 3-meter on Friday, coasted to victory in the platform with 597.55 points. The next closest finisher was freshman teammate Sam Adams, who took second with 503.25 points. Fellow frosh Natalie Kalibat was ninth (429.25) in the 12-person final.

    Freshman Natalie Stahl was 14th in prelims (195.55) while sophomore Celia Pinczower tied for 19th (178.40) and freshman Katherine Van Winkle was 22nd (175.00).

    Gear took fourth on men's platform with 584.30 points while freshman Spencer Madanay was sixth in the final (560.55). Freshman Adam Payne was 14th in prelims (197.15).
