Ishimatsu Wins 3-Meter Title at Day Two of Bruin Diving Invitational

Haley Ishimatsu took home first in the women's 3-Meter competition during day two of the Bruin Diving Invitational, while Collin Pollard finished second in the men's 1-Meter event at the Spieker Aquatics Center in Westwood, Calif., on Saturday (Jan. 11).
In the women's 3-Meter competition, Ishimatsu finished with a total score of 630.95, almost 44 points over the second place finisher. Samantha Adams finished in fifth for the Trojans with a score of 566.25, while sophomore Natalie Kalibat came in eighth (555.85).
In the men's 1-Meter event, Pollard finished second with a total score of 659.90. Sophomore Adam Payne, the Trojans only other competitor in the field finished in 10th with a score of 474.55.
Day three of the invitational includes the men's and women's platform competition and will begin at 9:30 a.m. PT on Sunday (Jan. 12) at the Spieker Aquatics Center.
